Málaga CF: The Sheikh, the Legal Drama, and the PSG-Liverpool Bidding War! ⚽🥅
Málaga FC is currently the most dramatic club in Spain, thanks to its very rich (and very complicated) owner, Sheikh Abdullah Al-Thani (51%). After a wild ride of legal battles, accusations of financial mismanagement, and a court-appointed “supervisor” (yes, really), the club is stuck in limbo while Al-Thani insists he’s not selling, despite everything pointing to the fact that, well… he might have to. 🫣
Enter the rumoured saviors: the owners of PSG and Liverpool, who are apparently now fighting over who gets to buy the struggling Andalusian side. With Sheikh Al-Thani calling fake news on any sale rumours and the club still under judicial administration, Málaga FC is like that one soap opera you can’t stop watching 👀
⛳️ Okay, okay… We know this has nothing to do with the Costa del Sol... But golf does❗
And when you live in a region where people take their swings more seriously than their siestas, you simply can’t ignore a gem like this.
Yes, it’s a parody. Yes, it’s over the top. And yes, it involves that guy turning The Masters into his own Oval Office drama 👱♂️
But come on—how could I not post this? 🤩

If you’re a local or a regular visitor in Elviria, you probably recognize this exact spot. It’s that little sandy entrance through the dunes, just by El Laurel Restaurant (open soon?), in front of Romana Playa.
It’s the perfect place to kick off your beach walk, whether you’re into casual strolling, power walking, or a good morning jog. 🏃
The best route? Head to the right — follow the shoreline all the way to Bono’s Beach. Grab a coffee, a beer, un zumo de naranja or whatever you fancy, take in the view, then turn around and make your way back.
Simple, beautiful, and totally refreshing. 🍃

His text: ´We were hoping for a lazy, peaceful breakfast on the sunny terrace of the Royal Tennis Club in El Rosario. The menu was promising — fresh croissants, strong coffee, maybe a full English breakfast? ☕️🍽🥞🍳🥐
And then... the soundtrack kicked in.
Groaning, grunting, moaning — not from the kitchen, but from tennis court no. 1. It felt like we'd accidentally booked a table at a very strange fitness-themed opera.
In the end, we made a tactical retreat. We are all for a lively atmosphere, but when the grunts are louder than the coffee
machine, it’s time to go.´ 🎾☕️🚪

They don’t call it the Costa del Golf for nothing. With 70+ golf courses, this sun-soaked stretch of southern Spain has more fairways than you have excuses for that slice.
